You
need to be using Contour version 4.1 or later and have IMX
XpressBridge installed on your PC before you can post a Contour file
directly on IMX. If you don't have a copy of IMX
XpressBridge, contact your IMX Broker Service Representative
by email at IMX Customer Service
If you haven't already done so, establish your normal connection to the Internet.
Double-click the IMX XpressBridge icon on your desktop or select IMX XpressBridge from the Windows Start menu.
Click Contour. The Open file window appears.
Enter your IMX user name and password in the spaces provided.
Select the Contour file you want to post. You may have to navigate to the appropriate folder to find it. XpressBridge remembers this folder and will point to it the next time you want to post a loan using a Contour file.
Click Open. The Open file window closes.
Click Post to IMX... IMX XpressBridge reads the selected Contour file and posts it on IMX . Note that there is no error checking at this point you won't receive any warnings regarding incomplete or incorrect information.
Repeat steps 5 through 7 for any additional loans you want to post. When you are done using IMX XpressBridge, close the window or click Cancel.
Since IMX has some special fields that do not appear in Contour, the loan is initially posted in a "Quote Only" status. In order to make the loan available for a lock, you need to edit it using IMXBroker. For more information, see How to Edit and Repost a Loan.
