If you want to receive pre-approval on a loan before the property address and appraised value are available, you can post the loan as a float. This lets you lock in a rate and fee with a lender before the borrower makes their offer on a specific property.
Complete the loan form as normal. The only normally required fields that can remain blank are: property address, city, state, zip, and appraised value.
Place a checkmark in the Float Loan checkbox in the Ask Price section of new loan or view loan.
You
cannot float a Guaranteed Accept loan.
