Editing and Reposting Loans

You can change any of the information about a loan after you have posted it even if there are active bids for it. This includes correcting typos, updating borrower income or credit information, and any of the terms and conditions of your asking price. In fact, the only things that you can’t change is the Loan ID. When the loan is reposted, it retains the original Loan ID, so there is never any doubt which loan it is.

To edit and repost a loan:

  1. Click Check Bids to change views in IMXBroker.

  2. Select the loan you want to edit from either the Pending Bids or No Bids sections. You cannot edit a loan for which you've accepted a bid.

  3. Click Edit Loan. IMXBroker changes to the View Loan section and displays all the information you've entered about the loan.

  4. Make any changes you desire. Be sure to check the Closing Date in the Ask Price section to make sure that it is still valid.

  5. Click Post Loan. IMXBroker checks to see if any required entries are missing. If a problem is found, a message appears indicating what needs to be fixed. If this happens, click OK, make the necessary corrections, and click Post Loan again to re-start the process. If all the required information has been entered, IMXBroker displays a message indicating that "You are about to Post a Loan... Do you wish to proceed?"

  6. Click OK to continue. As part of the posting process, IMX Exchange validates all the information submitted. If any problems are found, a message appears noting the problem. If this happens, click OK, make the necessary corrections, and click Post Loan again to re-start the process.Any loan that does not have an accepted bid and be edited and reposted at any time.

  7. When the loan has been successfully posted, a message appears noting the name of the primary borrower, the property address, and a Loan ID number that is assigned by IMX Exchange. Make a note of the Loan ID number so that you can use it later to find the loan associated with a bid.

IMXBroker automatically saves the last loan that was entered or imported and makes it available via the View Loan button. The information is retained between IMXBroker sessions run on a specific computer.
